I’ve never been a regular viewer of 60 Minutes, for a variety of reasons, most of them involving laziness. However, if you haven’t heard the buzz going around the internet, and you didn’t see the show itself Sunday, then I must say that Andy Rooney is now my hero. Snopes.com has a nice overview , as they are want to do. Personally, although he obviously has a few problems dealing with reality and always has,

Mel Gibson is still a great actor and has been in some of my favourite movies. Anything that ever happens on the 700 club is complete ignorant bullshit, though. I suppose if I ever get rich I’ll go on public access with the 800 club, where me and nine other people will harp endlessly on the glories of socks, and how they speak to us. One told me that the Soviet Union would rise again, in British Columbia, somewhere around 3450. I certainly don’t want to be here to see THAT happen.

There’s a new feature up, that it took me forever to write with our feature poster. I suppose it’s time to suggest a new feature to Kenny for version 2.0, which is coming along with the REST of Jux Entente 2.0…sometime this summer.

Many years ago I joked about how I’d like to have a soundtrack to my life. After walking around school with an iPod playing at all times for a day, I now know. It’s…surreal. I’ve never really used my portable music players like this before, to actually listen while walking around. Now I can see why so many people are in love with their iPods on a whole new level. This is crazy.

There are a few problems with the mini, though. For one, the 1.0 firmware is buggy and prevents the dock from charging and using the line out port at the same time. That will be fixed soon, I’m sure. Another may or may not be a problem: My battery seems to have depleted very quickly today, but that may just be because I didn’t calibrate it with a full discharge yet. We’ll see.
