I’m way to tired to do the big Juxtapositions feature I was planning on. We’re in the final stages of moving now (it’ll all come to a close, as far as emptying this house goes, on Monday), and it’s dragged everything out of me. Even my serious writing is on hold until the move is done.

What is it about the month of July that kills Jux updating? Oh well. The school year cometh.

Also, I build two ceiling fans for my room last night. Brushed nickel motors and mounts, brushed nickel blade arms, black blades, brushed nickel (I like metal) lighting fixtures…etc. They look quite nice. Actually, they look like something Martha Stewart would put in her “Industrial” section. I’ll take pictures after they’re in my room. I cut my finger on all the sharp but cool metal, though. I say alas to that :(

Bigotry.

They were only two points ahead, and we had plenty of game left. They just started strong. We would have had them.

I would just like to personally say that while team Jux did own “Apathy” AKA “Team Those Damn Bastards” in the first game, the second game’s outcome really did go to the opposing team Apathy. Graeme would be silly to say otherwise. BTW, I could still see.

Just to clarify: Kenny leaves Wednesday, and the feature about the kickball game will probably be posted sometime after that. I don’t really have time to write while he’s here, and all of my other writing projects have been put on hold as well.

Now, guess what? Verizon is offering fiber optic internet connections for $34.95 a month. With speeds up to 30 megabit downstream, and even the starting plan being cheaper than most DSL and offering 5 megabit down/2 megabit up…I’m drooling. Come on Verizon, give us some of that sweet sweet pep. My mom works for you!

Jux dominated the first game of the night, and the second game was called on a count of darkness before the outcome could be decided. A full feature will be coming your way shortly!

There’s a new feature up previewing the game, written by an impartial third party.

The long talked about Teeball game takes place tomorrow. It has morphed into a Kickball game for safety’s sake, by the way. Not only that, but we will also probably do some battle ball and pin ball. We’ll see how it works out. Unfortunately, we didn’t get jerseys or anything of that nature. That’s an expense we couldn’t justify quite yet. It’s too bad really, since those things looked awesome.

I’ll try to take as many pictures as I can, but since I have to play, it’s going to be hard to be camera man at the same time. Currently, the teams look like this. People that were orginally slated to be participating, buy aren’t, have their names struck out. We still don’t know if some people are playing or not, they are marked with question marks!

Team Jux Entente
Graeme Hefner (Crossed Reality)
Kenny Knapke (Kitty Vertigo)
Travis Rosenbaum (ZenZagg)
Samantha Boylan (Samiamthelast)
Laurie Stone (Athena Falconess)

Team Those Damn Bastards
Scott Hankinson (Old Friend/Samantha’s Ex-Boyfriend/Ringer)
Vivian Rath (Graeme’s Girlfriend)
Valerie Wingo (Jux Reader/Ringer)
? Sara Gancarz ? (Travis’s Girlfriend)
? Lauren Hudson ? (Jux Reader/Ringer)
Kenny’s Girlfriend (Kenny’s Girlfriend)
Marty Simpson (Samantha’s Boyfriend)

In the main kickball game itself, I feel that team Jux shall own its opponents. After that, things get a bit trickier…we could also run into problems if we only have seven people, and I have to dig someone up at the last minute. There are a few alternates that weren’t in the first drafts for various reasons, maybe we can call on them. Really, I should have asked Scott what Will was up to. Oh well.

It’s hard to update your website when you’re moving and have a friend in from across the U.S. at the SAME TIME.

It’s like trying to use scotch tape and drive while smoking a ham.
