The forums are upgraded and active again, our features and news posts have commentary functionality for the first time since the ancient days of Jux 1.0, and our forum theme is actually something that ties into our overall design. Our backend has robust and extensible administration tools, which let us worry more about content, and less about code.
For the first time I feel like we have a solid vehicle of expression here, and if we stick to our guns, we might just keep the momentum going into the future.
Awesome.

Just in case you didn’t know, my girlfriend Laura is moving to Denver in less than two weeks.
I’m very happy for her for the opportunity, but I’m going to miss her. This will be my first attempt at a long distance relationship.
We shall see.
I’m working on it now, in fact. I feel like doing more, but trying to force it never works.
That’s how we got stuff like the old plotline comics.

We are in the process of developing a wordpress plugin to cross-post to phpbb forums. We didn’t realize we were polluting our RSS in the process. It should be fixed now.
