“Aerosmith only has two hits: Dream On and everything else they ever made, which is all the same song”
I will eventually stop laughing at the above, but I’m not sure when.

Because I now consider 46 degrees t-shirt weather. I’m always amazed at my body’s ability to adapt.
It’s been a strange weekend, and it seems like it’s ended relatively quickly. Part of that is probably the amount of time I spent playing Medieval II yesterday. Regardless, I find myself looking forward to next weekend already. At the very least I’ll be watching BJ/GSP II.
(4:14:27 PM) Kenny Knapke: i think i’m getting sick
(4:15:03 PM) Kenny Knapke: why duz this always happen on the weekends!
(4:15:50 PM) Graeme Hefner: Because you always pick up the hooker on Hump Day.
(4:16:14 PM) Kenny Knapke: so, what, i should put that off til friday?
(4:16:24 PM) Graeme Hefner: Yeah, then you’ll be sick around Monday.
(4:16:30 PM) Graeme Hefner: And you can call out.
(4:16:32 PM) Kenny Knapke: well alright
Holy crap, I was acknowledged by a president!
Also, my cats play together now.
On Saturday I inherited my Aunt Polly’s cat, Kayla. She’s a beautiful kitty who I’ll post pictures of later. She’s a bit skittish right now, still, but she’s at least past the ‘hiding under furniture’ phase.
What I really want to talk about is Skirt. When another cat is around my eccentric sweet lump of cat, perhaps the greatest cat ever, changes entirely and turns into a monster. She starts to act just like her dad minus the pooping, pissing, scratching and attached Vivian. She’s calming down some now around Kayla, but still hisses at her all the time. I really hope this is a phase while she gets adjusted to having another cat around again.
When Pants was here she also acted like a different animal, but she was still sweet…although honestly at this point I can barely remember how she acted when Pants was here. Sometimes it seems like I didn’t even really get Skirt as a pet until after her father was gone, despite the fact that I saw her hours after she was born and she used to play with my feet when she barely had claws.
I’ve taken Kayla in, just like I took in Whitey, and I’m going to stick by it, just like I did with Whitey. But I really hope this doesn’t cause a permanent change in Skirt’s personality. I liked my sweet little kitty.
Sidenote: Whenever I go to the grocery store I end up spending $50. It doesn’t seem to matter how much or how little I buy, when I go, or what my intentions are: $50 to $60, every time.
At 16 seconds into the Puddle of Mudd song “I’m so sure”, album cut, I am entirely sure the Pidgin ‘message received’ sound makes an appearance. Someone chatting in the recording studio?
Tornado watch! Thanks random GDOT sign!
Also, my apartment just announced that I get to experience my third management company. Goodbye, Milestone Management.
Hopefully it’ll be goodbye Poplar Place soon.
I’ve had two crazy days at work that have involved Damn Near Everything going wrong, and on neither of those days have I had more than a handful of hours of sleep due to a recent bout of insomnia. If that doesn’t get fixed tonight I’m going to be a zombie tomorrow. And I want it to be fixed so that I can play more Fable II and spend less time attempting to go to sleep. Yesterday I listened to a book on ‘tape’ for many multiples of hours to no avail :(
On the other hand, Travis went to the emergency room yesterday, so my day definitely could have been worse.
