The only update to this page has been adding a disclaimer about the feature commentary boxes, which are, essentially, never used now.

Crossed Reality
Features List Page

The Title (Purple): The big, banner-sized text is the title of the article you are currently viewing. Sometimes this is informative, sometimes it's a joke. Right below the title, in much smaller text, is what we call the subtext. This is almost always a humorous addition to the main title, although there have been a few instances where it has been used for other purposes. Feature authors are encouraged to write their own subtexts, but if they forget or decline Crossed Reality often fills them in for them.

Navigation (Orange): This is pretty easy, since it's the only part of the site that's actually labeled. Unless CR was in a hurry and made an error, this should be the same on any page you visit. In our old format, this was contained on the same table structure as the main content, which led to the navigation 'stretching' in relation to certain pages with a lot of text in the upper portions. Our new format has fixed that problem by moving the navigation to a separate table.

A Quick Note on the Features Lists
Each feature has four bits of information contained in its listing. The first is the title, which will serve as the link to the main body of the feature. To the left of this title is the signature image of the author of the piece. Then comes the date that the feature was posted on the Jux Entente. Below this line is a brief description of the feature in normal text.

Latest Features (Red): The newest features on the Jux Entente are listed here. There is no set limit for how long a feature can stay in this box, but Crossed Reality usually tries to limit it to the last three added. The newest features on the site will also always be listed under the current month.

Our Favourites (Green): In an attempt to make the Features List page easier to navigate for people new to the page, this box was added. It's meant to allow people visiting for the first time to read some of what we consider to be our best features and, thus, give them a feel for the site before they plunge into the huge monthly listings. As a rule, only our humourous features are placed in this section; although we post serious features, that's not the main focus of the site.

Monthly Listings (Light Blue): Everything below the Our Favourites section is broken up into months. The very top of "June 2002" is shown in the image, and this box will contain all features posted on the Jux Entente in June 2002. The newest features are at the top, the oldest at the bottom.

First Commentary (Red): In this box the members of the Entente that were not responsible for writing the article can chime in with whatever they have to say. In the upper left corner you can see the signature image of the writer of the commentary, along with their text name and the date that the commentary was added to the article.

Second Commentary (Yellow): This box is rarely used but always there. This is where a second commentary can be added if any member of the Entente feels something needs to be addressed about the feature that was not contained within the main commentary. If there is no second commentary, the box will be "blued out" to appear as part of the background. In all other ways, a second commentary follows the same format guidelines as the first commentary.

A note on the commentary boxes: These were quite prominent in the early days of the Jux Entente, but now spend most of their time "blued out".

Content (Green): This is the feature proper. There are no real rules for what can and cannot be done in the content section, so long as it stays within the box assigned it. At the end of every article the author's name appears in italics in the lower right hand corner.
